Seal, or as we were known back then, Russeringen, was founded in 2017 by five guys in a school project. We started making custom rings for Russians (graduates from high school), but as time passed five guys became two, and two became one. The guys went on to do other things that they were passionate about. While I grew more and more passionate about silver jewelry.
The russ celebration is a big deal in Norway, and students go all out with their clothing and accessories. The russering is an iconic accessory, and Seal recognizes its significance. We wanted to offer students the chance to design their own unique rings that reflected their personality and style, and I still do. There are other copycats out there using our old name and claiming they're the first and only provider of personalized "russingers", but don't be fooled.
